According the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop E, an accident occurred on US- 67, 12 miles South of Fredericktown on March 6th, and about 4:10AM. Those involved in the accident were Tarna Peach, 21, of St. Louis,MO who was driving a 1994 Mazda. Also involved was Ryan Burns, 24, of Farmington, MO, he was driving a 2000 GMC and had three occupants. Burns' occupants were Elwanda Benham, 23, of Park Hills, Stacy Horton, 27, of Farmington, and Samantha Lankford also of Farmington. The accident happened as Burns was traveling Northbound on US 67 when he struck Peach head-on.
Benham and Horton sustained minor injuries and were taken to Parkland Hospital in Farmington. Burns also sustained minor injuries but was taken to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown. Both Lankford and Peach sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Parkland Hospital.
