Edwin Baker, 53, of Lowry City, MO was killed in a crash that occured on Route C, 8 miles east of Lowry City on August 26 at 5:20AM. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D, the accident occured as Baker failed to negotiate a curve and travelled off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned ejecting him. Baker was pronounced dead by Assistant St. Clair County Coroner, Bryan Roth. Baker was taken to Sheldon Funeral Home in Osceola, MO.
It is very important to always slow down when going around a curve, even more so in inclement weather.
