Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B reported a car crash at 1:55 a.m. on July 4, 2010 on Route BB just 4 miles southwest of Huntsville, Missouri. A 2007 Ford, driven by 41 year old Jerry Ames of Huntsville, ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, then ran off the left side, overturned, and came to rest on its top.

Overcorrection is one of the biggest mistakes a driver can make that can potentially cause a wreck. Visit the Springfield Missouri Police website for a helpful tip on how to avoid overcorrecting your vehicle while driving.
