Three Injured in Pettis County Crash

Rodney Bass, 45, of Windsor, Missouri, Tonya Lenger, 41, of Cole Camp, Missouri, James Fannon, 29 of Windsor, Missouri, and Christine Reno, 38, of Windsor, Missouri were involved in a two car crash March 11th, 2010 on Missouri State Highway 52 one mile west of Route E.

According to the report of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A, Bass, driving a 1994 Ford Ranger attempted to pass Lenger, driving a 2006 Ford Mustang on a bridge. Bass hit Lenger, causing him to lose control of his vehicle, which then proceeded to skid off the roadway and overturn before finally coming to rest on the west side of the road. Lenger's vehicle came to rest in the roadway. An investigation is continuing, with charges pending.

Bass was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, Missouri for treatment of his injuries. Fannon, who sustained minor injuries, refused treatment at the scene. Reno who also received minor injuries also refused treatment at the scene, but later recieved treatment at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol were assisted by the Pettis County Sheriffs Department and the Greenridge Fire Department.
